RESIDENTIAL AND COMMERCIAL SURVEYING: WHAT WE OFFER

With years of experience and the latest technology at our fingertips, Murphy Surveys is able to provide professional and accurate surveying.  We can provide our services for a multitude of projects, including:

TOPOGRAPHIC SURVEYS

A topographic survey is a map/paper or electronic 3D image prepared from field data defining the horizontal and vertical position of the surface and underground features of a property.  It can be used for numerous reasons like design landscaping, completing lot grading and much more.

CONSTRUCTION LAYOUTS

We can provide our services for all different types of construction projects like creating designs and surveys for floorplans.

SUBDIVISION DESIGN DEVELOPMENT AND APPROVAL

This survey can be used to divide a plot of land, design lots for roads and construction, and more.  It will also take into account rocks, formations and other land features.

SURVEYOR’S REAL PROPERTY REPORT (MORTGAGE SURVEY)

We can prepare a survey plan for locations of buildings—including garages and sheds—and any accompanying walkways, powerlines and other features.  That plan is then taken to the bank to prove the property is at that location and has the dimensions and features to set up any future landscaping, additions, and more.

BOUNDARY DISPUTE RESOLUTION

This survey is necessary if you have a disagreement with an adjoining landowner.  In these cases, we can usually find a solution with the goal of resolving the dispute without going to court.  With our many years of experience, we are able to figure out where the property line actually should be and discuss it with both parties.

CONDOMINIUM SURVEYS

We can provide surveys for multi-storey apartment units and other related residential structures.  Our surveyor would lay out the walls, fixtures and other design elements while checking in during multiple stages of the construction to make sure everything is going to plan.
